Thanks for checking out my small business!
Not to be cliché, but it all started with a dog…
In fall 2020, I began fostering my first service dog in training, Talenti. While studying Economics and Management at the University of Kentucky, I trained service dogs alongside my classes. Since graduating in 2024, I’ve worked full-time in project support for a company that provides audio, video, and lighting solutions to churches nationwide. Training service dogs is still one of my biggest passions and I’m currently fostering my sixth, Larkin. All of my previous fosters—Talenti, Melisandre, Coraline, Ivory, and Babe—have gone on to become service dogs.
I’m proud to be part of the 4 Paws for Ability community and deeply admire the work they do. Living and working in Lexington, KY, I want to keep supporting 4 Paws and spend my spare time doing something I love. That’s how Bits and Bops became part of my journey—I bought bandanas from the shop and loved them so much that when the original owner decided to sell, I jumped at the chance to carry it forward.
Each item I make is inspired by my service dog journey and love for dogs. Thank you so much for your support and for being part of this adventure. Feel free to reach out anytime with questions or just to say “Hi!”
